Do you dream of a bigger and better future? Have you ever been told to ‘get your head out of the clouds’ and ‘be more realistic’?

Well, you’re not crazy, and you’re not alone.

Every product, innovation social movement and major change in the world started off as one person’s dream – and they were called ‘crazy’ until they made their dream come true… and then they were called a ‘genius.’

The other day I was watching the brand new documentary, Dreamer created by Giovanni Marsico (which you can watch for free at DreamerDocumentary.com), and I absolutely loved it! It was filled with incredible stories of individuals who ignored those who told them to be more realistic, and instead turned their unrealistic dreams into their reality.

I enjoyed the film so much that I immediately reached out to Giovanni and asked him to be on the podcast to share what he’s learned from spending time with some of the world’s most prolific Dreamers. He explores the patterns that he sees in people who have had the power to pursue their vision even when up against crazy resistance, friction, and people telling them it’ll never work out.

Today, Giovanni joins the podcast to share the story behind Dreamer, why there’s a real-life superhero hiding inside of all of us, and his strategies for cultivating meaningful relationships with incredible people who have already achieved what you want to.

The other day, I posted the following quote on social media: "Consider that every painful emotion you have ever experienced has been self-created by resisting your reality. It's never the thing we think we're upset about that's actually upsetting us. It is our resistance. When you accept reality exactly as it is, you are at peace.

To this, I added, “When you accept reality exactly as it is, there is no pain, only peace. Instead of resisting reality, accept it unconditionally, giving yourself the gift of inner peace, and from that place of unconditional peace, you can choose to experience any reality that you want.

Several members of the Miracle Morning Community responded. They wanted to talk about the trauma, sadness, and pain they’ve felt in their own life caused by losing others and enduring difficult circumstances.

On today’s podcast, I want to address this. I want to teach you how to free yourself from emotional pain. I want to help you find the power and purpose in emotional pain and discover how to access the emotional freedom that is available to all of us, right now.

We’re living not just in a global pandemic, but a global mental health crisis. More people are struggling mentally and emotionally than possibly ever before. In fact, nearly half of Americans report the coronavirus crisis is harming their mental health, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation poll.

However, what can give you the power to manage your mental and emotional state, in times like these, is a strong sense of control of your inner world. Today, we talk about how GRATITUDE can be the key that unlocks the door to your inner freedom.

There are few people I know who excel when it comes to their mental and emotional well-being, like Chip Franks. Chip is a master of choosing the emotion that best serves him in any given circumstance, no matter how difficult or challenging it may be. You’re going to hear Chip talk about dropping his mom off at hospice last week, and how he’s able to remain grateful and joyful, even in the midst of losing his dear mother. 

Today, Chip joins the podcast for the sixth time (not including the times he’s served as a guest host) to share insights on the power of gratitude, about the joy he feels even as he navigates the inevitable, and how we can bring those feelings into every challenge we face - and every area of our lives.

For today’s podcast episode, I want to explore what enables certain people to move through life’s challenges so much more easily and effectively than others, and give you three (3) steps to develop your ability to do the same.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the primary focus of what I’ve been talking with you about is the one thing that you have control over: your inner world (your thinking, your emotional well-being, and ultimately your internal quality of life).

I know that for many of us, it may feel like that’s easier said than done, and it can feel like the pain, frustration, fear, suffering, and sadness in the world controls us.

However, today I want to show you that you absolutely have the ability to control your thinking and to intentionally create an emotional state that serves your highest good and enables you to be proactive – no matter what’s going on in the world, in your life, or with your family.

We’ll also explore the following three (3) key steps that can help you maintain a peaceful, proactive mindset that will help you feel good, happy, energized, and optimistic, even in the midst of pain and loss.
